New hips for old pole vaulters

Unread postby souleman » Fri Jul 12, 2013 8:01 pm

Hey gang! Got me a new left hip May 14th. Sure feels a lot better than that bone on bone crap that I have been dealing with for the last couple of years. Things are going fine and no I'm not back jumping yet. I was just wondering though, are there any masters vaulters that have had hip replacement (s)? I'm really missing my being able to jump 8 feet (man I'm SOOOOO bad). If so are they on PVP and likewise how soon were they able to get back to it? Looking forward to hearing about them.

I have no idea, but we hope to see you back on the runway soon! I am sure I could not pole vault 8' right now :deadrose:
