Re: Crazy old guy pole vaults off roof
Where do I start? He sure thought about it a long time. Probably that "no pit" thing.
We used to ride from roof to roof in our neighborhood. Even worse (or better) we taught all of the non-vaulters how to vault out of the 2nd story hallway window in our dorm to escape curfew. Bed check was 10 PM and the coaches would watch the front door until about 10:30. After we were counted “present” for 10 PM, we would ride out the back window on a pole and then come home later when they were gone. Sorry – no video available. Bubba

That takes a lot of guts. Another thing we used to do that was dumb was jump off the roof and try to land on your feet and remain standing without th drop and roll. REAL good for the back, knees and ankles. Bubba

Two things about what Bubba said. First, we were all geniuses and second, we were bullet proof back then. Legs? Knees? Back? Made of iron weren't they? Later.....Mike

NAH! First of all I don't have any steel poles and second, I have to use the old 1550 to do that off of my roof!
