Who is going to coach the guy vaulters at Florida?

I heard Pfaff is leaving, and I saw this job posting pop up today:

FLSA STATUS Exempt

DEPARTMENT: Men's Track & Field (440)

POSITION NUMBER: TRM870-1

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. Previous experience at the collegiate level in coaching and/or recruiting student-athletes preferred. Working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Solid administrative and interpersonal skills. Must be strong in all the field events, with particular strengths in the horizontal and vertical jumps areas, and some knowledge in the multi event area.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of the head coach: assists with the evaluation and recruitment of prospective student-athletes. Also assists in the physical and technical training of student-athletes. Abide by the rules and regulations of the University of Florida, the SEC, NCAA and Athletic Association; other duties that may be assigned.

heard from a couple people he's leaving for northern california to coach some professional athletes.

I always thought it was a former 18' dutch vaulter who jumped at UTEP...something like Lewenberg.

Sounds like that may suck for Mike Morrison, the 17' 6" vaulter from Virginia who apparently went to Florida cause of the pole vault coach.

Chris coaches the women only.

I heard Chris broke his ankle jumping in Europe. Hope it is not to bad of a break.

I hope he gets paid well to coach in northern California, because it is not cheap place to live.

He is going to California to work for a consulting company. There are some financial situations stemming from when he coached Marion Jones a few years back and unfortunatly for us and him he could not support himself on UF's salary and had to take a higher paying job. Not sure if he is bringing any of his professionals with him or not but I know he isn't going to be coaching on the collegiate level.
