I'm a bio major and psych (or PE) minor...I want to do something in exercise physiology or nutrition research...but that could change.
Being a personal trainer sounds like fun...I think i want to be an aerobics instructor on the side if i have time
Or maybe i could be a HS bio teacher and coach PV....

I am in a 6 year Physical Therapy program and I am also working on my Exercise Science degree. Exercise Science is pertty much personal training. I have kines, anatomy, nutrition, and strength and condidioning classes. One of the other vaulters on my team is doing the exact same thing. I love the programs. I would definatly tell you to keep going with it if you are interested.

I am just heading into college this year as a freshman and I am entering an Athletic Training program. This is a BS 4 year degree and after I finish that up I plan to transfer schools and go for my doctorate in Physical Therapy. Everything I have heard about both of these programs has been great. I have also heard that it is going to be very hard but I am up for the challenge because I believe I will enjoy doing this for the rest of my life.

Which college are you going to for the athletic training, and which ones are you looking at for the Physical Therapy?

My major is Sports and Fitness Management, it is kind of a combination of Kineseology and buisness. I am majoring in this because I want to be a college recruiter, I would get paid to go watch track meets and to travel across the country looking for talent.

That and just simply knowing the sport and what to look for. From his history of posts, he seems to know his stuff.

I am going to Lindenwood University in St. Charles Missouri for my Athletic Training Degree. After that I am not set on a school for the Physical Therapy degree yet, but I am looking at Washington U and St. Louis University as of right now.
