Unread postby Lax PV » Mon Apr 25, 2005 10:59 pm

just curious what kinda poles everyone likes, and what size people are on vs. how heavy and how tall they are...

the biggest pole i have ever been on was a 16' 170', im 5'9", ~160 pounds

but i like essx carbons the best...

let me know what you guys (and gals) think

I  zebra poles!!! (Carbon Pacer Mystics)

I'm 5'5" 125 on a 13'6" 150. I like to train more on Spirits since they seem easier to get onto, but the zebra poles will throw you more if you can vault on them. (I'm often not fast/pumped up enough to vault on the Mystics during practice...need the adrenaline of a meet.)

for some wonderful reason I like...ESSX poles

I did however jump my best as a sophmore in high school 12'4" on a Wonder Pole and my best as a senior on a skypole 13'6" and my best in college as a freshman on a Catapole 15'8 1970

The worst pole I jumped on was a thermo flex they talk to you everytime you bend them LOL
And then there were the bamboo poles from the carpet renderings that is another story

I totally agree, I jumped on CarbonFX a few times as well, 15'6" 170 and 175... youre right, they have one hell of a recoil, my runway has just been to inconsistant to stay on them, but i prefer Pacer of Spirit
