I wanted to inform everyone that my teamate Brian Mondschein triple indoor PR'd this weekend at home to snag 5.37m and a pretty safe qualifying mark. His hard work finally paid off. And hes going to go alot higher.

After 5.37 (17' 7.5"), Brian got a great look at 5.45 (17' 10.75").
He has been due for a while. We were all very happy for him and the other VA Tech vaulters. They are great meet hosts.
The bar started at 4.75 (15' 7") for one group and 4.45 (14' 7.25") for the other. It was a very big field.
We had a couple of PR's as well. Trey Bell, who was sick as dog, jumped 5.05 (16' 6.75") and Dan Mackenzie at 4.75 (15' 7"). Both guys had great attempts at the next heights as well.

the pole was a 5.0m 14.8 old flex (195) holding 15'8
standards were back at 70. if i could ever get my step outside of 12' i could get on some real poles. god. hahah

Hey nice jump. Maybe you could teach me how to get on some 5m poles. Oh and one more thing. For all you people out there that say, "if you're interested, here's my video", I think you can skip the formalities because this is pole vault power! I think everyone is interested. So if any of you have videos of yourself, then post a link to it. I loooove watchin video, especially of my competitors.
