Can someone clarify NCAA rules for me?

Wow. NCAA rules are quite difficult to decipher. So here's the details:

I enrolled with the NCAA clearinghouse last year, when I planned on vaulting at a college this year.

I am currently enrolled in a Junior College.

They do not have a T&F team.

I joined a vaulting club.

I plan on transferring to a 4-year institution next year. Division I

The club meets once a week, and has about 4 meets during the year. These meets are almost exclusively club members.

How does this effect my eligibility for next year when I go to a 4-year institiution?

~jj~ it is your brother's club, if you know anything about how it effects my eligibility I would be most obliged.

If you are in school full time right now, your clock has started to tick.

You won't lose eligibility competing for a club, but you lose your redshirt year.

You have 4 seasons to compete and 5 years to do it in the NCAA.

A question that must be answered is your eligibility after graduating high school.

If you were ineligible after graduation: did not meet the sliding scale requirements, then you must complete your associates degree in order to be eligible. This will take you two years.

If you were eligible but decided to go to a juco anyway then do what Becka says.
