Trackwire Rankings
to me, i feel that the top 12 vaulters in the country are already going to be pretty well known, so it's more than anything pointing out the obvious. Now giving rankings based off how many go to ncs makes sense to me, and that is why i say that. But i do understand the top 12 or whatever are the most elite, but it was just a suggestion, not like it'll change anything anyways, lol, oh well...
Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill. - Muhammad Ali

yeah, i'd like it more if it were a top 25 format, but trackshark.com has long, accurate lists of everyone who has made a qualifying mark. that's what i go by... but it doesn't count for consistancy, just marks.
8700... mark it down

not sure if you were kidding about the meaning of predecessor, but here is a real definition:
predecessor
\Pred`e*ces"sor\ (?; 277), n. [L. praedecessor; prae before + decessor one who withdraws from the province he has governed, a retiring officer (with reference to his successor), a predecessor, fr. decedere: cf. F. pr['e]d['e]cesseur. See Decease.] One who precedes; one who has preceded another in any state, position, office, etc.; one whom another follows or comes after, in any office or position.
A prince who was as watchful as his predecessor had been over the interests of the state. --Prescott.

Would it be too difficult to rank only the vaulters that have hit NCAA Standards? Then you can make your list as long or short as you want. The truth is in the performance and these are the current top rankings in my book.

Tommy Skipper moves into first. No shocker there, and he deserves it. Brandon is still waiting to be ranked though
