He jumped 5.50m again last weekend at Texas. Bubba

PS - here's a video of his first 17' vault the summer of his senior year in high school at the San Marcos River Vault - courtesy of my coach (and his at the time) Kris Allison.

Jason jumped 5.50 by about 6" on a 4.90/15.0 gripping 15'5" last Saturday.

The free take off is. Alana Launder watched this video with Kris Allison when he visited us a couple of years ago. He was very intrigued. Bubba

I like how anyone taking off on our out is considered to be doing the petrov model. I am so sick of hearing about the petrov model. Can we get a Bubka model since we can narrow the differences down a bit more.

I remember seeing this video, that's why i asked if he still did his freak double leg swing... Then everyone started talking about how he does the petrov model...
On a whole new level 6-20-09

I understand your point Kyle and agree with you. In this particular case, his coach at Rice, David Butler, spends part of nearly every summer studying with Petrov in Italy so there will be some influence. In fact, all of his vaulters have different styles but follow the same model. With that said, you make a very good point. Bubba
