1 1/2 year break

I haven't vaulted for about a year and a half, but I'm now gonna vault for the 'athletics club' at a university in england where im studying abroad. anyone have any specific tips on getting back into the sport, and anyone have any knowledge of vaulting resources in the uk? also, has anyone shipped poles overseas? I have 4 poles back home that I might want to ship over later if not too expensive.
