what kinda poles do you like?

Biggest pole ever been on also happens to be the one I had my Pr on. It is a 16' 14.0 flex. Weight rating says 205. I weighed 175 and was 6' at the time, and I held about 15'3''. It's sort of fat= 4 on the butt plug. Needed nine lefts to get on the thing. Now I can jump on it from 7 lefts, but that's probably because I weigh ten pounds more than last year. Pacer Carbon by the way. Spirits are too wimpy on the recoil.

pshhh those little tooth pick carbons!! they are easy to carry down the runway! The hard part is bending it

I must agree...Carbons are like toothpicks...Up at school I jump on a 16'180 spirit and that is really a tree trunk!

do you guys prefer larger or smaller mandrel sizes? for me, i like having a thicker pole, just my preference...just wondering what everyone else is like cause i hear a LOT of people say they think they skinnier the better

Skinnier=heavier (all other things being equal)

exactly why i like a little rounder pole :-)

that pole was a 15' 160 i gripped 14' and i weighed 145lbs

I used to like jumping on really skinny carbons, but lately I have started to like having a bigger pole in my hands...I'm 6'5 so some things are different for me

gotta love ESSX! The biggest ESSX I've been on is a 13'7-167, but I also like the new carbon FXs and I've been on a 14'-150.
