Prosperous college PV programs all share the same things:
1. Good set of poles
2. Good team-mates
3. Fun environment
4. Dedication to training
5. Consistent leadership
6. Reasonable meet schedule
7. Safe Facilities
8. Enthusiasm
9. Emphasis on getting a degree

University of Miami is a great place to vault. You can vault outdoor all year long (always a plus). They have a million poles, multiple pits, and Bill Faulk coaching you. How cool is that? Oh yeah, it's only about 15 miles to Miami Beach!

The University of Pennsylavania is a pretty incredible place to valut as well. Not just because they host the Penn Relays each year (which is an awe inspiring T&F carnival), but their facility is really cool. The stadium is old and has a very historic feel, just like the rest of the campus. They also have a solid fieldhouse for indoor vaulting. The school has a ton of $$resources$$ so they have multiple pits and poles galore. Too bad the weather in Philly is so miserable.

You might check out the University of Tennessee. A couple pretty good vaulters have come from there. . . . I understand!

I have a couple of ladies who expect to go 13' and one who jumped 13'3.5" last year to win the SEC's. One is a senior this year and the other two are juniors in eligibility. There are none this year behind them. My SEC champ started last year in Jan with a PR of 11'. By March she had set the school record at 13'3.5". A 28" PR improvement. Not bad!!

We often "allow" Tim and Lo to workout with us. To have the input from Jim Bemiller and Tim Mack and Roman Botcharnikov and Lawrence Johnson is really a unique kind of training. Tim is a real supporter of the Lady Vols!!
