Who Ships Poles?

I am interesting in shipping a polevault pole. Trouble is, I have called UPS, and FedEx, and neither will ship it. Does anyone know a carrier that WILL ship polevault poles?

Hi,
Due to the length I believe that they are shipped by freight. Like Yellow Frieght would probably do it. You would need to check around and expect to pay in excess of 80.00, depending on where it's coming from.

Saia will ship them.. depends on distance but rates are anywhere from 50 to 100 if you can have delivered to a business or school is it usually cheaper.
Last one i got took 2 days from Arkansas to Houston - was around 75 bucks.
http://www.saia.com/v2/default.aspx recommend you put them in a PVC pipe with a sponge/foam stuffed in each end and sealed, not a cardboard tube.
