I am kind of curious though, does anyone know of any other novels (i.e. fictional stories) that have ever been written about a pole-vaulter? I don't mean short stories or novellas, but real novels. I've done searches on the Internet (Amazon, B&N, google, yahoo, etc.) but haven't found any. I am wondering if this novel is the first.
