Jeremy, Go to your your state high school leagues' website. There you will find e-mail addresses for the track coaches and athletic directors of those high schools. Spend a Sunday afternoon sending each one of them a letter (e-mail) asking if they have a pit they need to get rid of. You will be surprised at how many will actually e-mail you back. Also keep an eye on e-bay. They will have one every now and again. You can expect to pay anywhere from $200 to $500 for a pit. I wouldn't pay any more than that because there are plenty of them out there. You just need to find the one that is right for you. Your ace in the hole is the fact that a school's only other recourse is to pay for the pit's disposal. It's borderline hazardous waste so the disposal fee is generally around $300 to $500 a section. I got mine which is 3 sections that are 5 1/2' X 11', a decent top cover with a few rodent holes in it and a vynil cover for $225. It was located about 120 miles south of where I live, but I was able to go get it one night after work. Good luck and keep us posted on your search. Later........Mike
