Good luck finding someone part with one. If you go to trackcages.com you can buy one for under 200. Well worth it.

For what it's worth, http://www.everythingtrackandfield.com has free shipping and about a $20 discount on this item now.

The telescopic pole with a 45 to 80 cm horizontal rod is the way to go. Measured with a certified steel tape it is the more accurate way to go.

Why? The poles tend to be more rigid at higher heights. With the longer pole I can measure way past the WR. The certified steel tape conforms with all rule books.

While I've gone laser this year, I still do a steel tape measurement first to ensure the laser equals the tape.

:) When digital calculators first came out, I verified their answers with a slide rule... :)
