Mike Morrison 17-6.5

Mike Morrison broke Lawrence Johnson's Great Bridge HS & Eastern region meet record today when he jumped 17-6.5 (old record was 17-6 from 1994). His progression was 16-0, 16-8, 17-6.5, all on 1st attempts. He then had two good attempts at 18-0.5. He opted not to compete in the hurdles or other jumping events in order to go for the record, and it paid off. Great Bridge also won the team championship!
