Talk about getting jammed. Looked like she had plenty of height without quite covering the top the pole. She could possibly threaten 15' very soon. Good jump though!

That jump was no fluke. The jumps at 13'6" and 13'9" were just as impressive.

14' 0" 165 Pacer

Hope to move up to the 14'6" poles within the next couple weeks. The runways at Reno were FAST! A little under on the steps but she jumped well. Hope to get the step out and clean some things up at take off with her bottom arm and step!

pain is only temporary victory is forever

Bob, you're doing a great job this year!

Fort Wayne, IN is probably one of the most productive cities for churning out quality high school vaulters, which Bob Shank and the crew of other coaches up there play a large part in.

Thanks Ash :)

It's great working with these kids. They all work really hard and hang out with each other outside of pole vaulting! That makes the training really fun.

I'm really fortunate to have help working with these athletes. Brian Kimball, Randy Hall, and Jeff Martzall all contribute by passing along knowledge and different perspectives of what we are trying to get done.
It's a great community here and we are loving it! :D
