Becca has to enter me in as a coach but with practice coming soon I need to ask other coaches out there how they deal with the kid that wants to pole vault as a senior in high school. I am of them opinion that I will work with him just like freshmen, getting him the basics and having a will see attitude. His dad vaulted in College so I am hoping there is a reality that this is a tough thing to just start doing as a senior. I plan to give him as much opportunity as he can handle, but knowing that I have a couple of really good looking underclassmen jumping, how much time do the rest of you invest in a senior first timer? what is your attitude on this. I know some coaches that won't bother.
