i was wondering, what would we all be doing if there
wasn't any vaulting at your school or in your conference
or whatever...

(i know i combined baseball & Softball and they can be
argued different but for this sake it doesn't matter...)

I would still be a track guy because I ran from the time I was in middle school all the way until my junior year in high school before I started vaulting.

i run cross country in the fall, so i would probably do 800 or mile on track. not a big fan of running in circles, but i doubt i could pick up another totally new sport, and be any good. lol

I hate lacrosse with a living passion. If any of u play lacrosse, i live in Cockeysville/Hunt Valley Maryland which is considored the capital of lacrosse. In my city, u either play lacroosse and are an athlete, or u do any "game" and dosnt mean crap. :crying:  I never even knew what it was until i moved here

I had to research Johns Hopkins University for an English College/Career project and their sports website is COMPLETELY lacrosse...something like "lacrosse was a sport invented by Native Americans and perfected at Johns Hopkins." They introduced it at my high school last year and some people have been pretty into it. I saw about 5 minutes of a professional lax game on tv and it looked pretty boring...pv is DEFINITELY better! :P

If I wasn't pole vaulting, I would probably still be doing track (trying hurdles and the 200m, continuing with long jump, etc.) or I would still be in gymnastics. Bad last two years experience in that does not make me savor the thought :dazed:

i quit baseball to vault to, and my family wasnt happy, but it turned out for the best. I was a good ballplayer, but not enough to really shine, so i quit and vaulted, and i got all-confrence, city/county and metro, and it turns out to be the best descion i have made :D

i would still do track cause i am all around a decent runner....not great at anythng but decent at every distance....like 100-11.3, 200- 24.4, 400-54.7, 800- 2:07, 1600-4:49, 3200-screw that!! its to much to run on the track...i also long jump very well and high jump decnt...but i hate it!! and my coach would kill me lol yeah and track is the reason i quite my fav. sport!! baseball
