8th GRADE RECORD

Trying to find out what the records are around the state and country for 8th grade Boys. My son just set a new District record by jumping 12"3"
(Northeast Indipendent School District) in San Antonio, TX

I want to say Jesse Shoemaker from Pflugerville (or however you spell it)class of 01', in the 8th grade jumped about 14'3"...Brian Elmore would know for sure though, he was his coach. That might be the national record for that age also. Pflugerville is north of Austin.

Mike Dempsey of Gates Chili in Rochester NY jumped 12-7 in 8th grade for the 8th grade state record

Wayne Guidry of Orangefield TX jumped 14'6" in 8th grade back in '88.

i heard skippper was at 15'6" 8th grade,,

ive heard of skipper and seen some of his clips, he's amazing but was that post true? is he not even out of high school yet? because that'd be unbelieveably amazing...i wish our grammar schools had pole vaulting...not till H.S
