AZ State Boys – 5 over 16ft

Unread postby PhxVault » Mon May 27, 2013 12:55 pm

Surprised not to see any discussion in this forum on what has been going on in AZ this year for boys. I think AZ had to be one of the most, if not THE most competitive state this year.

There were 5 athletes above 16ft. this year at the state meet. Sisserson jumped 17ft to win.

Boys Pole Vault Division I - Finals
1 Sisserson, Grant 12 Horizon 17-00.00
2 Walsh, Cole 12 Brophy College Prep 16-09.00
3 Marshall, Scott 12 Desert Vista 16-06.00
4 Haddock, Bo 12 Deer Valley 16-03.00
5 Hiett, Nathan 12 Basha J16-03.00
6 Waldie, Drake 11 Mountain View Mesa 15-00.00
7 Amann, Brian 12 Mountain View Mesa 14-06.00
7 Smith, Cody 12 Basha 14-06.00
9 Tobin, Justin 12 Desert Vista J14-06.00
10 McClanahan, Zach 12 Cibola 14-00.00
11 Poet, Jeremy 12 Highland J14-00.00
12 Alme, Jakob 11 Desert Vista J14-00.00

Four days later most of the same athletes met again at the AZ Meet of Champions where it took 17ft again, by Marshall (for the third time this season) to win.
