Congratulations to JJ on a huge day! Keep up the good work! Wish I could have been there but I had to work...will be there tomorrow.
Actually, Raising the Bar vaulters took 1st in all 3 boys divisions today, right...? So that's 4/6 golds in all the boys divisions...Big achievement!
Just curious: what pole is JJ jumping on and what is he gripping?

our guys really stepped it up this year winning 1A, 4A, 5A and 6A in some bad windy conditions. we are very proud of them. We had a couple of girls in the meet as well and are equally proud of them. JJ was on a 16' 180 gripping around 15'6" the first time he ever used a 16' pole in competition.

Well Dan,
WSTC Scored 95.5 points in the 4A 5A 6A State meet in the Pv and the Hj. Not counting a 6A girls win in the long jump. hehehehe
Good job to all!!! This is soo much fun!

Nice work by your kids, too, Rick!
I always use your vaulters as an example of how you want to run down the runway, and how overgripping often=less height
It was fun watching Kathryn M. have a big PR day her senior year at state and get the upset win, pretty sure she jumped 11'9 on a 12' pole, right?
WSTC and RTB are tough to compete with, but next year watch out for the Central Oregonians...Jim from Sisters was calling us the "high country vaulters"
