Rachel Laurent 13-10 Again!

Rachel Clears 13-10 at the Braves/tigers Relays at Terrebonne High for the second time this outdoors, with a very close attempt at 14-2. I should have had the bar set to 14-1 3/4's for the outdoor mark or 14-2 3/4's for the overall record. but when I asked her what she wanted to go for she said 14-2 and that's what it was set to. Her progression was first attempt clearence at 12' on 13-7 154# essx, then moved to 13-7 162# essx at 13-4 for second attempt clearence, same pole at 13-10 first attempt clearence. At 14-2 her second attempt was very close. 1st and 3rd wasn't near as close but still decent attempts. Tomorrow she competes at LSU they usually have good vaulting conditions there!

Awesome job. Keep up the good work. I have to get going as far as height goes because 13'10" is the guys school record and its 30 years old. 1978 was when it was set, which was the 4th year after my school was built

I'm in the same deal. 13'6" is our school record set in 1972. Great job Rachel!

this time last year my PR was 14'8"... so i expect to see you jumping 16'2" next year .
