send video and info including any times in races he may have, other event he may do. also include physical stats, height, weight, etc.

send it to any and all coaches of places that he wants to go. make sure this place has the academics hes looking for, and that there is a coach there whose athletes tend to progress.

His name is John Smith, he is recieving some interest from a few schools. He is attending Deerfield-Windsor school in Albany Ga. We are a College prep school. John has a private coach that he works out with 3 to 4 times a week. I talked with his coach this past week and he said the John cleared 17-0 in practice this past week on a 15-6 155 carbon. If anyone is interested in John as a student-athlete please e-mail me.

You really need to enter him in some big meets and let him get some national exposure. Everyone will see him jump and word will get out.

17 on a 15'6 155? How much does he weigh like 130?

Dang sounds like he should be pretty good come outdoor, get that on video and send it in to coaches as well, or better yet get it at a meet and you will have coaches knocking down his door  .

Dude, your sentence fragments/run-ons are killing me!

At least capitalize and punctuate! They like that stuff on college applications.
;)

Sorry, former English teacher.

Thanks for the advice on helping John Smith, he is going to jump at some big meets over the next three months. Ive coached track for 25 years and had many 12- 14 ft. vaulters ( good high school vaulters) but John is by far best I have coached and has the potential to vault at the next level.
He has already received some interest becasue of this post.
