How 'bout Shade Weygandt 13'7" at State Meet

I dont know all the details, im sure she can explain, but Shade Weygandt (sophmore) of Mansfield, TX, Won her state meet with a leap of 13'7" and a new PR. Congrats Shade!!

yeah, it was 13'7 on the third attempt!
really excited!!!
The group of boys before us ripped up part of the runway so they turned us around to go in the other direction and we had to fight a slight headwind, but we all fought through it and had a great time!!!

o yeah altius all the way, although i am trying to get on a ucs before next year, good job too cant wait to see how high you get in the years to come

What are the specs on that pole? 13-6? How much over your body weight was it, where was your takeoff, etc. Just curious! Great jump and Congrats!!

I got a spirit stick right now. Well it's a UCS Spirit Pole, but I call it my spirit stick.

it was an altius 13' 6" - 175
6.0 flex
and i weigh like 124
and i was gripping down about 2 inches down from the tape
take off was around 9'6
lil under but whatev
work, sweat, tears, and pain... all of this for just one gain.

are you tough enough?
