It was a clean jump
Joseph had a very clean jump at 16'6" on borrowed poles, poles I think did not fit him. He jump with a 15' grip but at 17' did hold much higher, if he had bigger poles and time to adjust his timing he would of made the bar. He needed more skytime so he lowered his grip back to 15' to clear the bar.
He is jumping below his ability and has the ability to be a 17'6" jumper right now.
He also can run faster his run was adjusted to accomidate softer poles.
Joseph is the sleeper with lots of talent. We all need to look for him to jump higher soon.

Be advised!! There is apparently a new NCAA rule that prohibits high school athletes from competing unattached in a college division... Rumor has it that the athlete could lose eligibility during their college career! It was supposed to go into effect on March 27th... I dont know all the logistics of this new rule, but I know that the people at UTSA made a big deal of it two weeks ago and wouldnt let any high schoolers compete with collegiate athletes...
4.75... Write THAT down...
