Yay I have internet here. I will try to post some live updates, but I am also coaching, so we'll see.

They start in about an hour. I probably won't post too many updates until they get past the first few bars, so check back here in maybe 2 hours or so.

Just updating to say that despite repeated assurances by meet management and officials that the pole vault would use 5-alive, they are not (and there are 15 vaulters in at opening height).

Not happy...

Bar is at 15-1. Lots of guys left, nothing too exciting has happened yet, other than a lot of annoyed coaches at the way the meet is being run.

I take that back, Logan Lynch just came up short and made the crowd gasp (he's fine).

I'll keep you all posted.

Hunter put plenty of height on his first at 15-7, but he got sloppy on top and knocked it off.

Scott Houston had a realllly good attempt at 15-7. It bounced around on the pegs but came off after a few seconds.

In earlier news, Jason (vaulterboy) took 2 realllly good shots at 15-1 (would have been a PR) and Logan Lynch NH'd.

I don't know half the people in the competition, sorry.

Holy cow, Hunter put like 2 feet over 15-7 on his second attempt. An easy clearance.

Scott Houston clears on his second. I think the Pole Vault Power shirt he was wearing in warmups was good luck ;)
