BIG MEETS IN TEXAS

Anyone know of some big meets in Texas that are coming up that are not UIL sanction?

I don't think the UIL sanctions any of the indoor meets?

correct.

texas tech has a few indoor meets.
the one specifically for high schooler is on the 17th of feb.
For me it is during school track so i doubt that i will get to go, but i guess that i will have to see!

I think the Carl Lewis Invitational High School meet at the University of Houston is Jan. 20. Great indoor meet, but it just happens to be the same weekend as Reno. If you are not going to Reno, try to make it to this one.

U of H All Comers indoor is Feb. 10. Another good jumping opportunity.

Yea im going to Reno so I won't be able to go to the one at U of H, and i have a UIL meet on the 17th so Tech is out too...

Not sure the dates but Coach Bethel (cbpv20@sbcglobal.net) was planning on having two more pole vault meets at Joshua. They have a great building that has a 50 yard turf football field and he will set up two runways in it. Joshua is about 20 miles south of Fort Worth.
