Since indoor season is approaching, who do you think will be the top hs vaulters this year? I'd bet Casey Roche since he did jump 17'5 last summer and he'll be back for one more year.

Since Spencer is getting on some bigger sticks, my money is definitely sticking with him. I think Farley will be right in the mix, though. Roche has a shot if he can keep the intensity he ended last season with, but thats a very difficult thing to do. However if sports were pre-determined, why would anyone play?? Its gonna be very interesting.

who is spencer....well

he is probably the fastest thing standing 5'8'' tall that vaults in the US

Many 17' jumps and a pretty impressive list of accomplishments.

Top in the nation since he was a sophomore.

So yea...

so including outdoor summer these are the marks for top 5 let me know if i am missing anyone:

casey roche-17'5"
spencer-17'3"
maston wallace-16'9"
Hunter Hall-16'8"
Joe Farley-16'6"

now either one of them could gfo big this year or someone thats not on there could just come up and just blow over the comp. so right now it could be to early to decide, but those 5 are looking really strong.... so best of luck to all of yall!

Basically, we can be looking at a year filled with a ton of 17+ jumpers again. I dont care so much about the competition because i would love to see everyone PR at every meet. All american pole vaulters are a team, against that pesky bar (and those dirty Europeans). lol j/k. I would love to see the entire top 6 at nationals filled with 17 or higher... maybe even testing the 18s. That would give soo much more attention to our event.

If he's 19 years old, he would most likely be a college, not high school, vaulter.
