I think not too many people on thie forum are familiar with #4 on the boy's list, Donnell Hill. He is from my home town, and he is going high this year if his knee doesn't hold him back (I hear he has been having some problems with it). He is a gymnast, and he is very fast. I have seen him jump in practice, and it is pretty obvious that he is very capable of going 17' off of a 15' pole. He has been playing around with some 16s in practice. He has unreal kinesthetic awareness and body control, and his strength-to-weight ratio is way ahead of most high-schoolers. I think many of you will hear about him in the future. Super nice guy, too--kind of shy...looks a little bit like Lawrence Johnson.

Saraf, you might remember him from nationals last year. He came in fourth with a vault of 15' 9" (4.80m). It was only his second year vaulting.

No one knows me but I jumped 12'0 in practice and I'm hoping to put some big numbers up this year! Gotta carry on the Jersey vaulter tradition! :D
