could there be a downside to coming in at way lower heights? my form never seems to be to great when i am attempting to clear lower heights, and i am also worried about wasting energy for higher heights where i might be going for a PR. maybe smaller meets would be the time to do this??

i dont like having to wait to come in either, but i worry about coming in at super low heights. i dont like to come in more than a foot below my PR at the most because then i psyche myself out. i end up thinking too hard about details, and by the time the bar is at a PR, i feel like i could jump worse than without the extra jumps.

i would rather wait around than mess with my own head :P
