3 Lefts - 9'3" (9'10" in practice)
4 Lefts - 10'3" (10'6" in practice)
5 Lefts - 10 feet? I don't like 5 lefts very much
6 Lefts - 11 feet
7 Lefts - 10'6.25

Hmm still lots of room for improvement!

OK today at Earl's I did 10'7" from 4 and 10'8" from 5. I'm staying at 5 lefts until I clear 11'4"

I never count steps - get confused - on my seventh step (rights and left) I start turning when I count - to many years of HJ I guess - in the PV it causes you to fall of the runway ;)

Tonight I jumped 10'0" from 3 lefts, in flats! I've jumped 10'6" this summer from 5 lefts. Those were both in meets. I've also cleared 10'7" from 4 lefts in practice.

So basically I jump about as high from 7 as I do from 3 :crying:

Lets see if I can remember, its been a year since I've done any real jumping so these are somewhat off now I would guess.

1 left 11'9"
2 lefts 13'8" (those two were in the last 2 weeks)
3 lefts 15'2"
4 lefts 5m (in a meet)
5 lefts 16'8"
6 lefts 17'3" (in a meet)
7 lefts 17'1" (that run never worked out for me)
8 lefts 17'9"

Thats about it, some of those marks are dated but some still hold. Lon

umm...let's see if I remember what i can do... it's not often I actually bother to realize how high I jump on any steps besides in a meet...

3 lefts: 7' or 8'
6 lefts: 11'6" (in meets)

Yea, that's all I do...lol

Lon, Those are some awesome marks!

Chase has some good ones as well.

3 lefts 14' 8"
4 lefts 15' 6"+/-
5 lefts 17' 0" (many times in practice)

Some were bungee and some crossbar, but all cleared clean.

Oops! At first I didn't know what you meant so I voted I didn't know! :D Now that I understand I compete from a 5 step, that is mainly because I am so new at vaulting!

uhh, the other day i jumped a 19 feet from 8 strides(4 lefts)
....it was a bungy though
.....and i think it may only have been at 16
....and it was sagging
.....and i may have touched it a little...actually quite a bit....but if it was a bar it would have stayed on....probably

anyway, im looking forward to jumping in a meet. that 19 should be cake by the time the season really starts. im not in great shape yet but was timed at 3.8 seconds for the 40 the other day
