A friend of mine and I were talking about USATF-sanctioned summer meets, and we wondered... do high schoolers have to weigh in?

it depends on the association and the region but i am pertty sure they weigh at JO. at my association i'm am pertty much the only girl in my division so they dont bother weighing, sometimes they'll have my coach initial saying i am the appropriate weight. I have never been weighed at regionals either, although this year the schedule says they will have a weigh in time.

At Nationals they usually do. At the Association and Regional level it varies widely.
