Good point. Morrison is competing in the Decathalon but there's no Pole Vault event in the competition listed :( Yet, he's looking good overall in the total points :)

After seven events, Morrison is doing a nice job on the total points standing. Now only if they could throw in the pole vault event for the competition... ;)

Becca, would it be possible to include the usernames for our folks when a story or results like this is posted. For us that don't know each other personally it would really be nice to read these and "root"for our home townguys and gals. Just a thought. Later.....Mike

I know Mike Morrison has a lot of fans on here, but I don't know if he is actually a member. Jordan Scott is a member, but he has only posted a couple times, so I can't remember his username off the top of my head. I don't know if Scott Roth is a member or not.

Here's a shocker... sounds like they had trouble getting their poles there...

http://www.usatf.org/news/view.aspx?DUI ... 5_15_44_16

In the boys' pole vault competition, Scott Roth of Granite Bay, Calif., and Jordan Scott of Watkinsville, Ga., only had one day to practice on their poles which arrived the day before their competition. Both Roth and Scott cleared 4.80m/15-9 to advance in the boys' pole vault final.

I don't think Morrison or several vaulters in the Hampton Roads (VA) area know about this site. So I have been doing a little PR for polevaultpower.com while officiating at some meets down here. Hopefully more vaulters will join up to support the site zand provide more info for your pleasure....
