qualifying heights for state competition in your state???

In PA, the winner of each district may compete at states as well as anyone in the top 8 at districts who meets the qualifying standards. The qualifying heights are as follows:

AAA boys: 13'9"
AA boys: 13'3"
AAA girls: I believe this is around 10'
AA girls: 9'9"
... and don't mind the Cucumbers.

In California it's almost impossible to qualify because there are no divisions and lots of vaulters! I'm not sure what the boys at-large mark is, but the girls is 11'9. :eek:

In PA there is an Indoor State Meet (Run by the PA T&F coaches association). To quailfy for girls you need to vault 10'6" and 13' 6" for guys. These were the standards for last year, might go up a little this year.
I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was!
