doesnt shade vault year round? i mean i know its early in the year and i would understand if she hadnt been training .. but to go from 13 10 to 12 3 if you had continually been training is kind of a let down....but im sure she will still do awsome this year
loving life, making progress, exceeding expectations

She's had some injuries to deal with and she didn't have any competition.

oo yea that always sucks.....just like corey shank ... jumps 17 as a sophomore and breaks his back twice

Re: Simplot - Weygandt 12-3, Tran, Woepse 15-3
What's with the Negativity? That's a pretty jerky thing to say!!
If you had seen Shades' jumps at 12'9 you wouldn't say that.
First attempt, move up pole, blow thru
2nd attempt, move up another pole, rushed the jump
3rd attempt, huge clearance over the bar, tickle it off on the way down.
Unfortunately, she's out with just a win.
Shade's fine, she just hasn't had many meets. Little injuries here and there have come with bad timing, nothing long term. And BTW, she doesn't train year round.
And when you jump 17' then you can be critical of Corey Shank.

I think it would help if Shade could get some good coaching!
