ucs poles are superior in my opinion, i didnt feel any gains in a carbon pole from 14-16ft, felt no difference at all, ucs i have felt a gain due to the pole higher sale piece..... not worth the money if you ask me to go with carbons, id say. before i hear a bunch of controversy, in MY opinion, UCS ...

I will definitely be looking into making a trip out to the street vault it looks like a blast! Thank you very much for the response, your son is one heck of a vaulter. Hopefully i will get to see him vault some time soon, if not over the summer.

I started on a skypole only for a bit though. Just to get used to a pole bending then moved on to the ucs spirits. As you progress and get more comfortable vaulting in general, i'd say make the switch. Make sure your run and plant are sub-par because these are two completely different poles. Hope th...

From what i've read online Brian is 5-3 130lbs and jumps on either a 14-6 or 15 foot pole.
