One of my athletes is is moving to London in september, studying. She would love to continue her pole vaulting at a club over there, but she has no clue where to go.
Does anybody has tips or good experiences at athletics clubs in London?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Photos of free take offs - Got any?
This athlete really liked the pre jump.
He even liked it so much, that he has decided to specialize in long jump last year ...

Re: What does the bottom arm do????
Agapit, being a believer of the function of the pull with the bottom arm, I'm happy with you explaining how to teach this to athletes. Thanks for the information. Are there also specific gymnastic exercises or drills you use in addition? How can we use the highbar or the rope for training the pull w...

Re: buying different brand poles
Ok. Tnx!
I have a picture of the poles. How can this pole be compared to UCS? These are used poles. Is this an older version of Carbon Pacer poles?

buying different brand poles
At my training facility our longest poles are 4.60m. Our stiffest poles have a flex of 16.8, 15.6 and 14.5. They are UCS spirit poles. Now I have the opportunity to buy secondhand Pacer Carbon poles. They are 5m long and with a flex of 18,6, 18,1, 17,6 and 17,2. How do these poles compare with the U...

Re: Bottom arm discussion continues...
And when the Isi vid was first linked on PVP (last year), I was confused by her comments. If THAT'S the Petrov Model, then I distance myself from it. It's getting late, but if someone could dig up that original thread, there was a lot of controversy around that vid. I commented on that thread ... b...

Re: Tom Roetman
Hi,
Tom has a problem in the top-end. He can't make a smooth turn and is very late with turning. How can I help him with this?
12 step runup pole: 4.60m/155lbs, grip height 4.45m, bungee at 4.50m

Thanks!

Re: Pole Vault Manifesto
Get everyone following the same model is a great thought - but I suspect completely impossible in the USA. Wait and see for what's going to happen in that tiny country next to Germany in the upcoming ten years...we will kickstart it in august Altius, when you come over for that clinic! We got a few...
