What a great idea! Will you be doing this again at the upcoming vault summit?

Thanks guys! The support from the pole vault community has been awesome and we are lucky to have a lot of coaches, and athletes that believe in us and help us out.

Hahahahahaahaha
Oh wait, is it mean for me to laugh at that?
LOL. Good to see someone else has a warped sense of humor too.

Re: Box protector
I really dig Jan's new box collar. Doesn't impede anything in the vault and I have seen far to many high school kids land there. As a vaulter it doesn't distract me. A few years back watched my husband fall from 16 feet onto the box collar area, (the box collar was placed improperly) and hit box and...

Re: Grip Height for Stiff Pole Jagodins
I am sorry that I come across as arrogant to you, but I must tell you that all I am doing is taking a stance and defending it which takes a certain attitude that I could imagine might come across as arrogance... If something confuses me in someone's posts, I point it out and ask for clarification. ...

Re: Grip Height for Stiff Pole Jagodins
I have followed this and your other thread closely. I may be new to the site but I am not new to the sport, so here goes. I am no expert. I can get better and at this point I will do anything it takes to put myself in a position to succeed. I have trained with, met and know personally a handful of e...

Re: What got you started?
I didn't do any sports really. I was always an athletic kid, went out and rode bikes built stuff played games but I never really did sports. I tried a few in elementary school a season of basketball, track, volleyball etc. Nothing serious. My now husband and I were dating my Senior year in high scho...

Re: Scholarships
A little perspective from an athlete on scholarship. Earlier in the posts I read from some people looking at it from the perspective of damn the cost and go where you can get the best training. Honestly, sometimes that is not an option. My husband and I are both scholorship athletes. If we weren't w...

Re: HipFlexer
Thanks for posting this. I have been dealing with the same issue. Sucky!
It's good to see the responses though, I wasn't sure what to do about it. I was told though to go easy on the stretching, that it might irritate the situation more. Comments?

That Burlingham guy, he's hot. He's so hot that I think I may have to marry him. Oh wait, I already did that! What a stud.
