i have the other end of the spectrum. i used to have 9 feet(which is bad enough) then i gained some weight got a new pole(taller) but now i have trouble getting 8'6" lol but awesome good for you man. it does feel great to get that new height

we have a pit but no coach or anything. the coach basically says are you fast? fearless? strong? heres some poles go have fun oh and weigh yourself.lol . its actually pretty fun. especially when jerk kids who think they're great at every thing try it and bust their butts

thanks for the help those sites are really helpfull i got the basics down ok so i guess ill be on the right track. i want 10 to 11 feet by the end of the season. then next year the school record of 11'8''. i need help!

ive been pole vaulting for one year and im a sophmore in highschool. we never had anyone to really teach us accept the senor who graduated last year. apparentl, from what ive been watching, im not doing it right. i dont know how to get the pole to bend like its suppose to. the best ive done was 9 ft...
