Re: High School Results December 2010
I saw jordan's record breaking jump in person, he FLEW over 16'6" on his 15'1" 165 UCS Spirit by about 6 inches or so but was inside on all his attempts at 17'
it's only december! He'll be at 17' before the end of the season, couldn't happen to a better kid

Indoor Pits, Distance from Walls
Is there any rule for how far away the sides and back of the pit need to be from the wall? especially in high school. One of the local high schools in my area has a setup with a roll out runway, all the necessary pads and everything, but the mats go right up against the wall in the back. Of course t...

Re: Weight/Pole Advice
If you're in high school, take a look at what other poles your school may have Moving up to a 13' pole doesn't have to be bad! You can always keep your grip at the same position, and remember that it is not about bending the pole! You may be able to borrow a pole from another school or private coach...

Re: P90 X
I did the system for about a month before slowly decreasing out of it first thing: the main instructor tells the viewer on most exercises to do the amount of weight and reps that pertain to their goals (8-10 for bulk and strength, 12-15 for lean and endurance). So even though the people in the video...

Re: Summer Training
What types of things would I do in a gymnastics room? http://www.polevaultpower.com/media/video/skillsanddrills/  these are composing a little more than 3/4 of my summer strength training As a current high schooler also, we're in the same boat. I'm doing mostly the stuff in that link, adding i...
