High School grade records
Is there a place to look up the records for Freshmen, Sophomore, Juniors and Seniors?
The record tab at the top of the page seems a little outdated. It lists the source as a book published in 2007.
Thanks!

Yes. It will take a lot more than 1 pole to get from 14' 6" to the 17' range.

Re: what type of pole should a little but fast jumper use?
Rainbowgirl is right. If you are blowing thru on a 15'7" 155 then a 16'1" 150 or a 15' 1" 170 would be the next pole.
Most coaches would recommend the 15'1" for a 15' bar.
YMMV

Re: Joe Dial
Look at the area around the pit. If he misses to the right he will come down on a nice 4' high pointed steel fence post. I guess there have been some advances in the safety dept.

Re: Woepse injures hamstring
I am very sorry to hear this. Mike is a fine young man and it is disappointing that he will not be able to finish his High School career at the California state meet. I am sure he will be very successful at UCLA.

Re: Woepse injures hamstring
In order for Michael Woepse to advance to CIF prelims and begin his "Road to the State Meet" he will have to clear 13' 7" at the Trinity league finals on 5/7. That is in 10 days. This is the at large qualifying standard for DII in the Souther Section of CIF. I am sure that he could cl...

Re: Stay in the vault world
JOJO, Come to Orange County and jump with BJ Vandrovec of Victory Athletics (see link). BJ is the Vault coach at Cal State Fullerton and he uses the Petrov model. There are a lot of openings for High School coaches and you will be qualified. So Cal has a great group of HS Vault coaches and we could ...

Re: is there a ruling for this?
One of my vaulters wanted to do this at our league finals meet. He opened at the CIF qualifying height of 12' 9" from 5 lefts. Then he passed to 14'6" (4 heights) and after one of the other coaches protested he was not given a run thru for his 8 left run. For HS I've always interpreted thi...
