Yeah it was a lot, we were having a competition to see who could do the most. I got to 10 and and just kept going.. i thought my arms were going to fall off haha

I agree with Becca... we do a lot of stuff at school that seems like it would do nothing, but the next day we are sore in places we never knew existed. Has anyone ever done muscle-ups? I got to 15 and was dead tired

I never trusted my athletic trainer at my high school after he told me I probably pulled my hamstring when I tore my lateral meniscus in my knee... I tore it playing football my sophomore year of high school. I felt a weird pop and some pretty bad pain around the back of my knee. My knee also locked...

I agree with you about young coaches and athletes bending the pole too early. I see high school vaulters all the time who shouldn't be bending yet and they sometimes come very close to getting hurt. A lot of the kids that i help out always want to bend the pole the first day they ever vault, and the...

I know everything else im doing isnt perfect but its there.. i have a decent run/approach, good plant(as in not getting sucked under), good block.. but once the pole recoils i loose all of it.. any help on the matters of turning? cause i'm clearing 13'6 by sitting over the bar but i need a turn bad...

I just finished watching the womens pole vault finals and i was extremely impressed with Jen. However i didn't like how her coach acted towards her afterwards...it was almost as if he was disappointed in her. I mean she has only been vaulting for 4 years, was facing the best woman vaulter in history...
