yea the 14-7 158 feels waayyy to flimsy, i dont get any recoil off the top at all..i had a coach from the opposing team say that if i had my last step where it should be that the pole should have snapped, so i guess i'll get on the 14 170 then? and try and fix that step.

I'm wondering what your guy's opinion is on this. I'm 145pounds and have been using a 14foot 160 spirit. My standards are usually set at 30 and the highest i've cleared is 13-6 with it. Is it time for me to move up another pole? the next pole i have is a 15 foot 160 spirit and after that a 14foot 17...

thanks for the help today i jumped higher right after the plant, i was clearing 12 6 no problem, i guess i wasnt jumping right after the plant at all and it caused my hand to slip
