Re: Earl Bell

I'm sorry. I read 4 out of the last 6 thinking they meant only the last Olympics. Now if it said 4 out of the last 18 I would have understood it better. Sorry.

Re: Earl Bell

Please elaborate. From '08 I can only count two Jeff and Derek...but Derek was in ND but was associated with Bell long enough to be claimed as "his" so 2 it is. Who are the other 2?

Re: Isinbayeva to star in Daegu

15' in September is a good jump but when you say that you will be seeking a world record that will not be broken for centuries then 15' looks horrible. If you read closely you will be able to tell that if she just jumped then people would say 15' is good but now it looks like a huge disappointment. ...

Re: Isinbayeva to star in Daegu

I wanted to say good job Erica if this is your last meet enjoy the rest!! and also I think that was way too bold of a statement for Yelena to make this late in the season. http://english.kbs.co.kr/news/newsview_ ... 2008092508 Isinbayeva, who posted a world record in the women’s pole vault during th...

My husband who was out there said the coaches and girls were all blaming it on one athlete but about 5 or 6 came up to him and told him to leave it. I'm not sure who they were..he said their complaint was if they switched the pad they would only get less than 1/2 hour warm up time for the entire fie...

I have been a part of PVP, T and F news, the IAAF message boards for many years now, and now feel I need to make a post. I have followed the pole vault, high jump, hurdles, and long jump both locally, internationally and nationally. This picture is not uncommon nor is it inappropriate. If you look a...
