Bending continues

That information is great and all, but I am holding about 13'. I am already holding the correct height to bend the pole. I am just asking if there are any specific ways to help the process of bending the pole go. Pretty much, what is necessary to provide bend to a pole?!

Bending the pole

Hey, im a 5'7" 135lb sophomore vaulter and I straight vault with my 13'6" 135lb pole. Can anyone help me to figure out the proper technique to bending this pole? I know the left arm is pretty important in this area, but that's about it. Help!

I think the kid who sits over the bar is pretty good. I heard he got 11 feet as a freshman. He also straight vaults too, which is pretty amazing. He just needs to work on bending the pole and I think he will do fine. He can get that turn and other perfect form stuff later.
