Re: USATF Uniform Restrictions Part 2

If USATF doesn't have to follow IAAF rules, why not try something different. With as much trouble as we have getting sponsorship and money to continue training in this country, why not open up track in this country and let sponsorship take off and put any sponsor in the uniform and use big lettering...

Re: NBC and Universal and the NY adidas GP Meet Directors Suck

all the media keeps pushing soccer and 98% of the country couldn't care less. But they ignore track and feld. Same with Sports Illustrated. Can you immagine them giving 1/4 issue coverage of college championships? Maybe we could get some attendance with more than a page.

If you ever watch golf, track could do the same thing. They bounce from hole to hole shot to shot. If they had the cameras it would make watching track a whole different animal. And it would not be hard to get more than 1 or 2 vaults or High Jumps LJ TJ shot etc.

Maybe its time to have USATF and some people with clout talk to the Olympic Committee. Whats wrong with the nascar idea if it promotes T & F world wide. Most other countries athletes are supported by their Govs. we get SQUAT in comparison.
