I'm gonna do it. I just hope to qualify to Omaha from my region - lol, it might be a little tough for me because I'm coming back from vacation on July 12, and I think my region qualifying is on the 13th. That's gonna be fun - MAJOR jet lag. XP

Don't think, just do! You know how to vault and if you're having mental problems of just even getting off the ground, don't think - just do. I had a very mental week last week and that phrase really helped. But always know you can get out of it. You won't be in the slump forever.

Could be a muscular imbalance. Too much abdominal work and not enough with the back can mess things up pretty easily. Unless instructed by a coach, most athletes don't put a lot of work into strengthening the back in the weight room. I have a gymnast this year who has chronic back pain, partially d...

Back Pains

My step is most of the time slightly under, but it has been that way for the past three years and my back has never bothered me before. It's...

I qualified to be int eh invitational Pole vault section, but I don't get to go because the not enough people from my team are going. I mean, my coach says our distance crew is "flat," so they don't get to go (because I guess it'd be a slight waste to travel them down?) but then that means...
