Im going to Alfred University for football and track. They have a 14-15' vaulter there, so even if the coach isn't that great I will still have some guidance.

Thanks for your advice everyone. I'm not sure there's that much I can do this season as its almost over, but next year in college I can work on the things everyone suggested.

My PR is actually 13-6, and I cleared that holding down at about 13'10'' on this same pole. I know I have horrible efficiency, but I have only been vaulting for...

My First Pole Break! - Video Included!

Well here it is, my first pole break while attempting 14 feet. The pole was a 15' 175 Spirit. I was holding at the top, right below the pink stripe, the highest high school allows. Cool, I heard good things about Brockport as well. They have a solid football program too so maybe that might be my best choice.

Dempsey goes to a public high school right? It looks like all the good vaulters in NY are prep schooled so they dont go to states. Also I belong on that list with a 12'6''. I dont know what meets he's been at so far this season, but my bet is on Mike Dempsey without a doubt. Count on some 16+ jumps ...

Yeah I'm not sure what his story is, but he said he worked with the Ithaca vaulters in the past. Regardless it was the first day I really ever had a coach.
